About the role:

Are you an experienced People & Culture Coordinator who is looking for a new challenge in a dynamic, high performing national team?

Would you like to work in the financial services industry, for a company who really is making a difference in the lives of over a million Australians?

As the initial point of contact for all employee-related queries, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and support to our P&C team and employees. You will also champion all People, Performance & Culture (PP&C) systems and processes, ensuring that everything runs efficiently.

Some key responsibilities for this role:

  • Management of the P&C inbox including triaging and follow up of all emails in a timely manner.
  • Provide sound and trusted advice on HR related matters, including the interpretation of the Hostplus Enterprise Agreement and company policies and procedures, as required. Coordinating and supporting a broad range of activities throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Generation / drafting of employment documentation including employment contracts and contract variation side letters.
  • Tracking of various employee related key dates and records such as probation periods, secondments, parental leave, leave without pay, higher duties etc., to ensure action is taken as required, in a timely manner.
  • In collaboration with the Talent, Culture & Development team, oversee the onboarding and offboarding process for all employees and provide People Leaders with required support during the process.
  • On a monthly basis update the organisational chart and prepare employee movements update for publication on the intranet.
  • Support the management and maintenance of our fleet vehicle arrangements and novated leases.
  • Support employee benefits administration including but not limited to Service Anniversary Awards, Salary Continuance.

About you:

The ideal candidate will bring 3 years’ experience in a similar P&C role, coming from a fast-paced environment (financial or professional services desired). You’ll bring excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills. In the role you’ll interact with varying degrees of seniority, bringing strong stakeholder management skills is paramount. Additionally, some other key skills;

  • Demonstrated technical and problem-skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills, as well as the ability to multi task and juggle competing priorities.
  • Relevant qualifications (preferable, not required)
  • Strong HR Systems experience (essential)
