About the role:
Joining us as our Business Lead /Digital Product Specialist – Marketing Automation you will be a key business & commercial interface between Fund members, business stakeholders and digital delivery teams. This role is focused on optimising member outcomes for retirement, primarily through focused delivery of a roadmap of strategic objectives.
Working collaboratively with Heads of Departments across our business, Project Managers, Designers, and Content Authors, you will play a key role in helping create and bring to life the vision of our unique digital member touchpoints, using your superior technical, Product & Account management skills & experience to manage budgets, expectations, information flow and project status reporting, all while keeping member’s needs first.
A snapshot of your key duties are to:
- Oversee the development, delivery and maintenance the Fund’s marketing automation activities with a focus on positive customer experience design and ensuring initiatives achieve their planned member and business benefits
- Develop & maintain strong partnerships with internal & external partners to get alignment on roadmaps and delivery plans, and ensure they align to strategy and optimise member outcomes for retirement
- Management & Performance Reporting, including reviewing trends and providing commentary and insights, and benefits tracking
- Liaise with senior stakeholders, content authors, UX designers, & business analysts to deliver complex user journeys through automated & triggered communications workflows, leveraging personalisation tactics that deliver measurable benefits.
- Collect and analyse feedback from members and employers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements
- Engage the business through the development journey, tracking and reporting progress, risk and issues as well as budgetary status
About you:
Key to your success in this role will be to have had experience in digital teams & marketing automation delivery with a focus on improving the customer experience, you'll have a deep understanding of Digital Product development principles including Launch, Continuous Integration, Optimisation and hand over to BAU.
Some other key skills & knowledge for success are:
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and a proven ability to influence & manage expectations.
- The ability to prioritise effectively (balancing value and costs) while maintaining a manageable workload for teams, and ultimately maximising member value delivery.
- Proven ability to assist the team to use UX / human centred design principles to understand who our members are, what they need and design digital journeys that put members needs first and ensure every interaction adds value.
- Experience in creating / leading teams to create first-class, segmented nurture programs that position Hostplus as a market leader, including building communication assets and designing automated workflows to warm prospects up ready for conversion and onboarding.
