We’re on a mission to revolutionise the way people experience Superannuation. Our team is fueled by creativity, determination, and a shared commitment to excellence. As the Head of Product Enablement, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our future and driving our growth. 

In this newly created role, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and management of Hostplus’ Product enablement and governance functions. This includes responsibility for the ongoing governance, compliance and management of Hostplus’ suite of products and services. This is a key leadership position within the Product and Retirement team and will help shape and lead the direction of product governance, operations and delivery.   

Please note: While the preferred location of this role is our Trustee office in Melbourne, we are open to considering this also being a Sydney, Adelaide or Brisbane based role. 

What you'll do:

You will have principal ownership and responsibility to lead all elements of Product governance, operations and delivery, therefore the following skills and knowledge will be essential: 

  • Strong Leadership: You’ll lead a high-performing team, setting and implementing best practice product governance, operations, and delivery frameworks. Your ability to align cross-functional teams and drive execution will be critical. 
  • Operational Excellence: You’ll optimize processes, streamline workflows, and enhance efficiency across the product lifecycle. Your keen eye for detail and data-driven decision-making will be invaluable. 
  • Collaboration: You’ll work closely with product managers, compliance, legal, operations and other stakeholders to ensure seamless product operations, updates, and enhancements. 
  • Innovation: You’ll champion innovation, identifying opportunities for process improvements, automation, and scalability. 
  • Performance Metrics: You’ll define and track KPIs, ensuring that our product operations meet and exceed performance targets. 
  • Exemplary Governance: You’ll ensure Hostplus’ products comply to existing regulations and keep pace with changing regulatory environment. You will adopt a continuous improvement mindset and will always be enhancing product governance and operations. 

About you:

  • Demonstrated experience in Senior Product governance leadership role(s), as well as operational and people leadership role(s); 
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role in funds management or the broader financial services industry; 
  • Tertiary degree in business, marketing, finance, commerce, or related discipline; and 
  • RG 146 compliant; 
  • In addition, you will influence and deliver Hostplus’ product operational plans and outcomes by developing and maintaining ongoing relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders including Hostplus’ Executive, Head of, Senior Product and Service Partners and the regulators.   

As a leader, your role encompasses coaching, mentoring, supporting, and fostering the growth of your direct reports. Additionally, you will provide guidance and exhibit exemplary leadership within the Product and Retirement team and, embodying our values and acting as a role model.
