As the Brand Specialist, you will collaborate with the Brand Manager to execute a comprehensive national brand campaign block plan, meticulously tailored to the strategic objectives of the fund.

The opportunity

We are looking for a talented Brand Specialist to join our team for a 9 month parental leave cover. Reporting to the Brand Manager you will work on the delivery of a national brand campaign block plan that supports the strategic objectives of our award winning fund. This role involves crafting and executing targeted campaign strategies across paid, owned, and earned media channels. Responsibilities encompass engaging with creative agencies for idea generation and asset development, securing necessary approvals, and distributing assets to relevant media outlets.

The Brand Specialist will also support the management and coordination of many of the brand assets and content for the Hostplus sporting and industry partnership portfolio – a key channel that forms an important part of our marketing strategy.

Some Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Brand Manager in the end-to-end execution of the annual program of brand campaigns, including liaising with creative agencies for concepting and supplying assets to relevant media
  • Support the fulfillment of partnership benefits including ad campaigns, content and brand opportunities and liaise with partnership and events team to ensure partner block plans and WIPs are up to date
  • Ensure all end to end campaign touchpoints are effectively targeted towards achieving the objectives of the campaign including peripheral activity such as search, landing page, remarketing etc.
  • Produce robust briefing documents for all brand activity that includes clear establishment of campaign objective, KPIs, expected outcomes, key channels, target segments and timeframes
  • Produce timely mid and post campaign reporting that tracks performance against KPIs including identifying and implementing areas of improvement to increase campaign success
  • Ensure all brand activity, including via sporting partners, is captured in the marketing block plan and is relevant and up to date
  • Work with our research partner to interpret and share quarterly brand tracking reports including development of board reporting
  • Manage Compliance, Legal and subject matter expert approval process for all brand activity
  • Support the Brand Manager and the PP&C team in the promotion of internal brand activity

About you

  • Demonstrated experience working in communications or marketing ideally in superannuation or financial services
  • Strong understanding of brand management with experience with delivering campaigns
  • A solid grasp of paid, owned and earned media planning and experience working with a range of different media
  • A keen eye for costs and timelines to ensure adherence to campaign scope and budget
  • Creative ability to implement multi media brand campaigns and ability to Liaise with external creative and media agencies
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, business, media or related discipline
