About the role:
The Brand Assistant supports the Head of Brand, Marketing in the delivery of a comprehensive national marketing brand campaign calendar to support the strategic objectives of the business.
The role includes developing and executing targeted campaign plans that leverage paid, owned, and earned media channels. This requires clear briefing and establishment of objectives and KPIs, liaising with creative agencies for concepting and development of assets, seeking relevant internal and external approvals, and coordinating and supplying assets to relevant media channels.
Tracking and measuring success against KPIs forms an important part of the role, including the coordination of mid and post campaign reporting that draws upon insights from our research and media partners, as well as our Business Intelligence team, to identify opportunities to increase campaign success.
The Brand Assistant will also support the management and coordination of many of the brand assets and content for the Hostplus sporting and industry partnership portfolio – a key channel that forms an important part of our marketing strategy. Key responsibilities include:
• Support the Head of Brand, Marketing in the end-to-end execution of the annual program of brand campaigns, including liaising with creative agencies for concepting and supplying assets to relevant media
• Support the fulfillment of partnership benefits including ad campaigns, content and brand opportunities and liaise with partnership and events team to ensure partner benefit calendars and WIPs are up to date
- Support the Head of Brand, Marketing and the PP&C team in the promotion of internal brand activity
- Produce robust briefing documents for all brand activity that includes clear establishment of campaign objective, KPIs, expected outcomes, key channels and target segments
- Produce mid and post campaign reporting that tracks performance against KPIs including identifying and implementing areas of improvement to increase campaign success
- Ensure all brand activity, including via sporting partners, is entered into the marketing calendar and is relevant and up to date
- Work with our research partner to interpret and share brand tracking reports including development of the quarterly marketing snapshot
- Manage Compliance, Legal and subject matter expert approval process for all brand activity
- Review and manage the Brand team’s information architecture by facilitating easy access to key documents, support the processing of invoices and monitor adherence to budgets and timelines
About you:
To hit the ground running in your new role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in in marketing, business or related discipline.
- Previous experience in superannuation or financial services (highly regarded, but not essential)
- Experience implementing multi-media brand campaigns, including liaison with creative and media agencies
- A solid grasp of paid, owned and earned media planning and experience working with a range of different media
- An appreciation and respect for the regulatory environment of superannuation, and the requirement for appropriate campaign governance and legal approvals
- Attention to detail and strong organisational, planning, and multi-tasking skills
- Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- Positive, proactive approach and willingness to adapt to change and work gracefully under pressure
