As the Responsible Investment Manager - Portfolio Integration, you will play a pivotal role in embedding Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) considerations across our investment portfolio, helping to ensure responsible investment principles are integrated into decision-making across all asset classes where appropriate.

The opportunity

Working closely with the Head of Responsible Investment, Investment teams and senior stakeholders, you will drive ESG integration initiatives, enhance portfolio analytics, strengthen governance frameworks and provide insights that support sustainable long-term investment performance. This is an opportunity to help shape the future of responsible investment at one of Australia's leading superannuation funds. 

In this role you will:

• Lead the integration of ESG considerations across a diverse investment portfolio and asset classes. 
• Develop and enhance ESG risk, opportunity and performance analytics, including automated reporting and dashboard solutions. 
• Support investment decision-making through ESG due diligence, portfolio analysis and risk assessments. 
• Partner with investment teams, external managers and service providers to improve ESG integration practices and governance. 
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the Fund's sustainable and responsible investment initiatives, including the new SRI option. 
• Monitor emerging ESG trends, regulatory developments and industry best practices to inform investment strategy. 
• Prepare high-quality reporting for senior leadership and the Board. 
• Support PRI reporting, sustainability disclosures, modern slavery reporting and other regulatory obligations. 
• Develop and maintain ESG integration frameworks, policies, processes and documentation. 
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen ESG data quality, reporting capability and investment governance. 

About you

• A tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Sustainability, Data Science or a related discipline. Relevant postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded. 
• 5+ years' experience in undertaking ESG portfolio analysis ESG asset class integration within an institutional investment environment. 
• Proficient in conducting ESG risk analysis and due diligence for an investment portfolio.
• Proficiency in tools such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Power BI and advanced Excel.
• Direct experience within a superannuation fund, institutional asset owner, asset manager or investment manager is highly regarded.
• Demonstrated experience integrating ESG considerations across multiple asset classes, including property, real estate, and private market investments.
• Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, responsible investment principles and ESG risk management practices.
• Practical experience developing, automating and enhancing portfolio ESG analytics, reporting and dashboard solutions.
• Proven ability to analyse ESG data, identify risks and opportunities, and provide clear investment insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Experience supporting investment manager selection, monitoring, stewardship and active ownership activities.
• Confidence preparing Investment Committee, Board and regulatory reporting, with the ability to communicate complex ESG concepts in a clear and concise manner.
