How will you make an impact?

In this role you will drive Hostplus’ regulatory change agenda, ensuring compliance frameworks are effectively implemented and continuously improved across the business.

The opportunity

Hostplus is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager – Regulatory Change to join our Risk team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping how risk and compliance is managed across the Fund, with a strong focus on regulatory change and assurance.

As the Manager – Regulatory Change, you will work collaboratively across the organisation to design and test the implementation of risk and compliance frameworks. You’ll lead the identification and assessment of upcoming legislative and regulatory changes, support their implementation, and ensure they are effectively integrated into business processes.

This is a dynamic role that requires strong stakeholder engagement, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to managing regulatory change.

Some Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the identification and assessment of upcoming legislative and regulatory changes.
  • Support the implementation of regulatory change initiatives, providing oversight and project leadership.
  • Deliver impact assessments and contribute to steering committees and forums.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to embed regulatory change into decision-making.
  • Manage external consultants and contractors supporting regulatory change.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with senior leaders across Risk, Compliance, and Legal to deliver key change initiatives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and assurance activities across the Fund.

About you

  • 3–5 years’ experience in risk advisory, regulatory interpretation, or change management.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, legislative and regulatory requirements in financial services.
  • Familiarity with the Corporations Act, SIS Act, and other relevant legislation.
  • Tertiary qualification in commerce or law (or equivalent experience).
  • Superannuation and/or financial services experience highly regarded.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
