Are you ready to shape the future of retirement solutions in Australia? Hostplus is seeking a strategic and driven Senior Product Manager – Implementation to lead the development and delivery of innovative superannuation and retirement solutions.

The opportunity

As a key member of the Product & Retirement team, you’ll play a pivotal role in implementing Hostplus’s product and retirement income strategies. You’ll lead initiatives that enhance our product offering, drive member engagement, and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory standards. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a cross-functional environment and is passionate about delivering market-leading retirement solutions that make a real difference in our members’ lives.

In this pivotal role, you’ll partner across the business to inform and execute our product vision, while bringing deep expertise in retirement and product research, analysis, and decision-making.

This role can be offered as full-time or 0.8 FTE (4 days per week) for the right candidate. We are open to candidates based in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide or Brisbane/Gold Coast.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic product and retirement initiatives aligned with Hostplus’s vision.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Ensure products meet regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Analyse market trends and member insights to inform product enhancements.
  • Drive operational excellence and support distribution strategies.

  • Timely delivery of strategic initiatives within budget.
  • High stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Products that are well-rated and aligned with member needs.
  • Clear understanding and support of Hostplus’s product strategy across the business.

About you

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in retirement product management or strategy including proven experience in design and delivery of new to market solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of the superannuation industry and regulatory landscape.
  • Proven ability to develop and operationalise product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, finance, marketing or a related discipline.
