About the role:

As a Member Services Officer your main purpose will be to help and educate our members in a face-to-face capacity, by providing outstanding service and support in our unique educational Super Hub. You will have the opportunity to drive changes and articulate opportunities to better service our members and employers. Our Super Hub currently operates 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday with a small close-knit team. These important services include general super and tax topics, opening new accounts, eligibility criteria for various benefits, and calculation of benefits to name a few. The role will also involve providing support to Employers when required. You will also participate in programs across the operating portfolios to share the knowledge and experience of our member and employers.

About you:

  • Proven experience delivery exceptional experiences in customer services in a retail or a call centre environment (previous experience in financial services being highly advantageous)
  • Experience in understanding complex concepts and being able to explain them in simple terms;
  • Experience working in a busy team environment and prioritising to meet deadlines;
  • Proven experience in building rapport with internal and external customers;
  • A knowledge of superannuation and/or insurance and/or advice models will be advantageous
  • A friendly, caring, can- do approach to work is a must
