Your expertise in change management will drive meaningful transformation across one of Australia's leading superannuation funds. As our Change Manager, you'll be instrumental in embedding risk culture, enhancing regulatory readiness, and supporting capability uplift initiatives that protect and grow our members' retirement savings

The opportunity

This newly created role offers you the chance to shape change management practices from the ground up whilst working closely with the Head of Organisational Development and collaborating with senior leaders across Risk and Compliance.

You'll lead comprehensive change management strategies specifically tailored to Risk and Compliance initiatives, working directly with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to assess change impacts and craft engagement plans that work. Key areas you'll focus on include:

  • Developing targeted communication strategies and training materials
  • Measuring change readiness through data-driven approaches and feedback loops
  • Supporting frontline teams in understanding and embedding new processes, policies, and regulatory requirements
  • Coaching senior leaders to fulfil their role in leading change
  • Building change capability and maturity within our Risk and Compliance teams

This position offers the unique opportunity to directly contribute to our operational resilience and governance programme, ensuring Hostplus remains strong and compliant for our members.

About you

You bring proven experience in Change Management with demonstrated success in risk, compliance, audit, legal, or regulatory-focused initiatives. Your background in highly regulated environments gives you the insight to understand how changes impact risk and compliance functions.

What we’d love you to bring to the role:

  • Certification in change management methodologies (Prosci/ADKAR, Kotter, or equivalent)
  • Strong communication skills that translate complex regulatory requirements into digestible business language
  • Experience working in financial services, insurance, superannuation, government, or similar regulated environments
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Confidence and credibility to influence senior leaders and guide them through complex change
  • Problem-solving mindset with strategic thinking capabilities
