You will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and governance of Hostplus’ investment valuations. Through detailed monitoring, reconciliation and control-focused activities, you will support timely unit pricing outcomes, regulatory reporting, and audit readiness. Your work will underpin strong valuation of governance, enhance operational resilience, and ultimately protect member outcomes in an increasingly complex investment environment.
The opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing Investment Operations team within a leading industry super fund. You will support the end-to-end valuation function, delivering critical monitoring, reporting and reconciliation activities that support valuation governance and unit pricing.
In this role you will:
- Perform valuation monitoring and control activities, including price and movement analysis
- Prepare and reconcile data across NAV back-testing, valuation oversight and reporting processes
- Support APRA regulatory reporting (including SRS 553) and audit deliverables
- Assist with unit pricing inputs and valuation documentation for custodians and stakeholders
- Support valuation surveys, audit requests and external stakeholder interactions
- Contribute to process improvements, controls uplift and automation initiatives

About you
You are a detail-oriented and analytical professional who thrives in a structured, controlled, and driven environment. You bring a strong reconciliation mindset, curiosity to learn, and a passion for accuracy and continuous improvement.
You will bring:
- 2–4 years’ experience in valuations, financial audit, fund administration, investment operations, or a related finance role
- Strong reconciliation, data validation and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel capability and experience working with large datasets
- Experience supporting controls, reporting and workpaper documentation
- Strong prioritisation skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- A collaborative approach and clear, professional communication style and strong stakeholder management skills across both internal teams and external stakeholders
