In this two-year fixed term role, you will drive a culture of continuous learning and capability uplift across Hostplus, ensuring our people have the skills, knowledge and confidence to perform at their best.
As our Learning and Development Manager, you will lead the design and delivery of impactful learning solutions that build organisational capability, strengthen risk maturity, and support our regulatory obligations. You will also play a key role in preparing our workforce for the future, including the evolving impact of artificial intelligence on roles, skills and ways of working.
The opportunity
This is a unique two-year fixed term opportunity to lead a high-performing Learning and Organisational Development function, partnering across the business to shape capability and culture.
You will:
- Lead and embed a contemporary learning strategy aligned to organisational priorities, including risk capability uplift and responsible AI adoption
- Design and deliver a learning framework that identifies priority capability needs and drives measurable outcomes
- Partner with leaders across Hostplus to design and implement engaging, blended learning experiences that enhance performance and growth
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and external providers to deliver high-quality learning solutions
- Develop robust evaluation frameworks and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of learning initiatives
- Contribute to broader organisational development initiatives including culture, engagement, change and DE&I programs

About you
You’re a strategic and hands-on learning professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys building capability at scale.
Key experience and capabilities include:
- Demonstrated experience leading learning and development teams and programs
- Strong expertise in instructional design, facilitation and evaluation of learning solutions
- Proven project management capability with the ability to deliver complex initiatives end-to-end
- A balance of strategic thinking and operational delivery focus
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to use data to inform decisions and measure impact
- Confident and engaging communication and facilitation skills
