Senior Operations Manager | Process Improvement, Transformation & Advice Services

As a Senior Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless delivery of operational services that support our members and meet evolving regulatory and client requirements. You will drive operational excellence, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure our services remain efficient, high quality and aligned to Hostplus’ strategic objectives.
The opportunity
This is a high-impact leadership role within our Administration Services team, where you will lead operational performance and drive service excellence across internal teams and external providers. A key focus of the role will be supporting and enhancing operational outcomes across our Advice and Adviser Services channels, ensuring service delivery continues to meet the evolving needs of advisers, advice clients and members.
- Oversee end-to-end operational service delivery to ensure alignment with legislative, regulatory and contractual obligations
- Manage and strengthen relationships with third-party service providers, ensuring performance and service standards are met
- Translate strategy into clear operational plans and outcomes across the business
- Lead process improvement, transformation and project initiatives to enhance efficiency, service quality and cost effectiveness
- Drive operational improvements across Adviser Services and Advice-related processes, identifying opportunities to improve member and adviser experiences
- Identify, analyse and resolve complex operational issues, driving sustainable solutions
- Partner across Technology, Compliance, Product, Advice and Service teams to deliver integrated outcomes
- Provide clear reporting and insights to senior leadership on service delivery and performance
About you
You are a strategic and hands-on leader who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments. You take ownership, lead with integrity, and build strong relationships to deliver outcomes that matter.
- Proven experience in superannuation or financial services operations
- Strong track record managing end-to-end operational service delivery
- Experience supporting Advice, Adviser Services or financial advice operating environments will be highly regarded
- Experience managing third-party vendors and service providers
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into operational outcomes
- Experience leading process improvement, business transformation and project delivery initiatives
- Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver sustainable operational improvements
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage issues through to resolution
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills, including executive-level reporting
