The Opportunity

Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Service Department as a Yardsperson. The position is located out of our busy Brisbane branch in Wacol.

In this role, you will be responsible for the control of waste management/recycling and all maintenance activities for the site. You will oversee oversize transport load outs, the loading/unloading of construction equipment, and will operate construction equipment as required.

About You:

• Ensure the HCA Safety Culture is embraced, displayed and driven from within - safety takes priority over everything else
• Hold a relevant Australian Driver's License and High-Risk Forklift License
• Previous experience with CoR (Chain of Responsibility)
• Ability to be technical in work approach, always looking for continuous improvement within your area of responsibilities
• Previous experience in a similar role and or within a similar industry will be highly regarded
• Good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
