About the Role

Our busy Parts division has an exciting opportunity for a Parts Administrator to join the Hitachi family at our busy Super Distribution Centre based at Wacol.

This position will see you joining our parts warehouse and your core focus will be to provide end-to-end administrative support from an operational standpoint. You will be an integral part of the team and recognised for being a creative problem solver as you identify every opportunity for continuous improvement in sourcing and supplying parts.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Support the SDC Manager to ensure the efficient operation of the department
• All branch records and documents maintained
• Organising staff training/toolbox meetings/workplace inspections
• Assisting with QA procedures for parts department
• Process payroll correctly every fortnight
• Maintain branch records and documents

As the ideal candidate, you will have: 

• Demonstrated knowledge / experience in a warehouse admin or parts support role
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics - advantage
• Previous experience in earthmoving or associated industries - advantage
• A self-driven Initiative to plan work fronts efficiently and effectively and keen ability to strategically multi-task
• Personable and Professional Communication Skills – above all else, your personality and charismatic character will be what sets you apart from the rest when dealing with various stakeholders to deliver customer success stories
