The Opportunity
Our Mining Assembly department has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join the team in the position of Service Co-ordinator. Based in Forrestdale, you will be responsible for the planning and organisation of new machine builds, ensuring all paperwork is processed efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner.
Main responsibilities include:
- Updating the project schedule to ensure desired build times are achieved
- Raise and track purchase orders
- Developing and maintaining all documentation for each build
- Tracking and managing costs related to individual builds
- Coordinating subcontractors and reviewing supplier performance
- Completing warranty claims and FIR submissions
- As the ideal candidate you will have:
- Previous experience in a workshop, scheduling or project coordination role
- Ability to interpret and relay specific customer requirement to suppliers
- Exposure to warranty claim control systems
- Contractor control and supply chain understanding
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles
- Intermediate level of Microsoft excel, word, project & power point
