Are you a detail-oriented, proactive individual with a passion for administration and data management? We are looking for a Commercial Administrator to join our International Operations team. If you have a few years of experience in commercial data administration, excellent attention to detail, and a strong command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, this could be the perfect opportunity for you to grow and make an impact in a global environment.


About the Role

As a Commercial Administrator based in Brisbane CBD and reporting to our Commercial Business Manager, you will play a key role in providing administrative support for our global mining commercial business, with priority on data administration. You will work closely with stakeholders based in Japan and globally, requiring flexibility to accommodate different time zones. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, has a keen eye for data and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update price files, part lists, and other data-driven documents, ensuring accuracy, consistency and clear reporting.
  • Provide administrative support for global commercial responsibilities, including database administration, and report coordination.
  • Support and maintain a tender database, ensuring all submitted documents are approved, organised and up to date.
  • Support commercial projects by maintaining communication registers, tracking progress, and ensuring timely resolution of actions.
  • Track and report on commercial projects, ensuring compliance and timely completion of required tasks.
  • Perform general business and office administration tasks as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • 2-3 years of experience in data administration, commercial administration, or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - advanced Excel skills would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to draft clear and concise documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
  • A proactive mindset with a hunger to learn, grow, and improve processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities effectively.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to meet non-negotiable deadlines.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
