The Opportunity

HCA’s Muswellbrook branch has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Report Writer. The main focus of the role is to compile detailed technical reports relating to our re manufactured components for internal and external customers. As a Technical Report Writer, you will:

• Conduct failure investigations for Reman components with the support of the product support team.
• Create technical reports for warranty claims.
• Develop and update report templates to industry standards.
• Maintain records related to component failure mode data and monitor failure trends.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gain an in-depth technical understanding of the relevant Hitachi Reman product and customer expectations.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Relevant mechanical trade or engineering qualifications.
• Excellent report writing ability, including sound knowledge of Failure Analysis processes.
• A good understanding of manufacturing processes within engineering and Earthmoving industries will be advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and intermediate to advanced computer skills, including MS Word & Excel.
