The Opportunity

With consistent growth in our Northern region, our Brisbane Mining Assembly branch has an exciting opportunity for a quality focused Boilermaker to join our Wacol based workshop team. As a key member of the team, your role will see you perform boiler making and welding repairs on a wide range of construction and mining equipment. 

You will be responsible for:

• Providing fabrication and repair tasks to a variety of construction and earthmoving equipment
• Design and fabrication of local options for earthmoving equipment
• Be able to interpret technical drawings
• Perform diagnostic evaluation of components and relevant systems
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

To be successful in this role you will:

• Ensure the HCA Safety Culture is embraced, displayed and driven from within - safety takes priority over everything else
• Hold relevant Australian (or Australian recognised) Engineering Fabrication (Boilermaking) trade qualifications
• Have previous experience working with construction, agricultural or mining equipment
• Be confined space trained and qualified
• High Risk Work licences (forklift, dogging, working at heights, etc.) are essential
