Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment. 

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Parts Supervisor to join our busy Launceston branch. Reporting to the Branch Manager, this position will see you lead a dedicated team in coordinating the supply of quality parts to our valued customer base whilst liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure high level service delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Work with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to identify efficiency and cost down opportunities within own area or across business.
  • Ensure the effective operation and compliance of the Parts Department with company policy, procedures and quality requirements.
  • Ensure HCA employees and contractors comply with all WHS responsibilities and that a safety first culture is a consistent behaviour within the department

To be successful, you will need:

  • Proven leadership skills in a similar environment where you have developed and mentored staff.
  • Prior experience in either automotive, commercial vehicle, construction/mining or agricultural industries.
  • Excellent business acumen with exceptional internal and external customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated safety focus with a strong understanding of WHS Principles
