The Opportunity

We are on the lookout for a customer-focused individual to join our Mackay Parts team as a Sales Representative – Filtration for our Donaldson product group. Based out of our Mackay branch, this customer support role will have you delivering a high level of service by acting as the key point of contact for their filtration requirements.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Managing relationships in an existing network of customers within the territory
  • Growth and new business development of the Donaldson filtration range
  • Undertaking negotiations with customers and resellers regarding their supply agreements
  • Accurate reporting of current and prospective activity, growth potential, market and competitor analysis
  • Maintaining an effective territory customer call and visit plan
  • Achieving nominated sales and trading targets

As the ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Demonstrated sales and customer service experience with evidence of success
  • Experience in Earthmoving, Mining, automotive or similar industries is preferred
  • Genuine desire to deliver Hitachi’s promise of Total Customer Satisfaction as you develop and maintain positive relationships with customers
  • Previous experience with the use of CRM or similar customer management database
  • A motivated and competitive drive to meet and exceed sales targets
  • A current driver’s license and the ability to travel frequently
