The Opportunity
Hitachi is actively seeking a motivated individual to join the team in the position of Design Engineer at our Brisbane Branch. This 6 Months Contract opportunity will see you create, modify and improve existing designs whilst developing design concepts for various divisions involving numerous stakeholders.
Reporting to the Project Manager, Service you will be responsible for:
- Creation, modification and improvement of the existing designs
- Developing clear and concise design concept information for new designs
- Complete QA Documentation and End User literature such as test procedures, Manuals, Handling Instructions
- Handle Multiple requests from various stakeholders and provide the necessary guidance
- Ensure Risk Controls are assigned and implemented in the Design and Project
- Perform all work in accordance to Company Safety Policies and Procedures
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 5+ Years’ experience into Machinery Design
- Solid Experience in Design Applications such as Solidworks or Inventa
- Experience working on MS Project and MS Office Packages
- A good understanding of 3D designs and CAD Designs
- Good communication skills and a dedication to providing quality work for an OEM
- Risk Management and Stakeholder Management along with good communication and Presentation Skills
