As part of our remarkable growth, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Trainer specializing in Mining Excavator products. In this pivotal role, can be based in Brisbane, Newcastle, or Muswellbrook you will collaborate closely with both our internal and external customers, ensuring we understand their unique needs and tailoring comprehensive training programs to match. 

Your Responsibilities Will Include: 

  • Championing safety with an unwavering commitment to HCA Safety Policies & Procedures. 
  • Delivering personalized face-to-face training to our esteemed internal and external customers, exactly when and where they need it. 
  • Responding to requests for training and, if appropriate, consulting with relevant people to clarify training requirements. 
  • Conducting technical and product training for our esteemed technical staff, including the incorporation of new technologies and systems introduced by the OEM's. 
  • Collaborating seamlessly with the training team and branches to analyze and strategize technical training needs for our esteemed Fitters, Apprentices, and Product support staff. 

About You - The Ideal Candidate: 

We believe that a successful Technical Trainer should possess a unique blend of expertise and qualities to thrive in this dynamic role. To excel, you should have: 

  • Essential mechanical trade or engineering qualifications, and preferentially a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. 
  • Experience in training needs analysis, coupled with a proven record of accomplishment in designing and delivering engaging face-to-face training in a related field. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, empowering you to connect effectively with all stakeholders. 
  • Remarkable stakeholder management capabilities, allowing you to foster collaborative partnerships throughout various projects. 
  • Valuable experience within a service department or similar working environment.
