Sanitation Worker

Job Posting Information:

Duration of assignment (weeks/months) 3 months

Shift: Days Shift

Hours of Operation: 5am to 1:30 pm, with possible overtime and weekend work.

Environment: Production

Number of hours per week  40 hours +

Work site: Orangeburg, SC 29118

Dress Code/Required PPE: Uniform, hairnet and hard hat (provided). Must wear steel-toed shoes (not provided).

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Clean - sweep, mop, run, scrubbers and sweepers, dust. 
• Bending, stooping, twist, turn, standing for extended time periods, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 55 lbs. Ability to push/pull up to 75 pounds.
• Climb ladders (up to 8 feet) must use harness
•  Must be able to adapt to temperature and environmental extremes such as hot to cold, dust dirt and chemicals
• Empty trash as needed - ensure sanitation rules are followed for each area of plant
• Run pressure washer
