The opportunity
Responsible for maintaining the accounts payable functions whilst ensuring accurate and timeliness processing of invoices together with the investigation and analysis of variances.
- Processing of payments by matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery dockets and distribute cheques according to established procedures
- Prepare cheques and EFT payments
- Verify vendor statements and handle all correspondence involving accounts payable
- Assist in resolution of complaints between vendor and customer
- Assist with month and year-end close out procedures and records
You will have:
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
- A good understanding of the financial compliance around recording activities for commercial entities in respect of GST, FBT and PAYG
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable and maintaining general ledgers
- High attention to detail
