The opportunity
As the National Bid Manager at Hindmarsh, you will be responsible for leading the bid team to support the preparation of winning proposals and tenders for new projects.
- Lead and monitor the strategy for all tender documentation, design and delivery
- Design and implement processes, guides and resources to support best practice bid production across the business
- Manage, develop and coordinate the bid team
- Evaluate tender requirements and coordinate tender responses and other client prospect pitch materials
- Develop and drive tender timelines, coordinate internal stakeholders, facilitate tender team meetings
- Develop bid and tender processes and resources including templates, standard content; including research and write non-technical or standard content; produce graphics, charts and tables
- Support and train Hindmarsh team members in the bid and tender processes and templates
To be considered, you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Tertiary Qualifications in a relevant field eg Business, Communications, Marketing
- Experience preparing bids & tenders in the Construction industry
- Experience managing a team
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, InDesign, Adobe Creative
- Leadership skills
- Excellent time management and planning skills
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- High degree of resilience to the stresses of complexity and time pressure
