The opportunity
We are currently looking for a seasoned Services Supervisor to join our Canberra team. You will collaborate with our experienced Project Team to bring a challenging Data Centre project to life.
The Services Supervisor is responsible for the successful multi-disciplinary supervision and coordination of building services on site, by advising on technical building services aspects of the project. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate on site construction activity of services trades including sub-contractors, labour, and delivery of materials
- Multidisciplinary services coordination on site
- Ensure site and work zones are prepared for successive tasks to take place
- Oversee the standard and progress of subcontractors' work
- Manage programme and time control of services trades
- Documentation control (QA/QC, program, etc)
- Inventory and material management (services related equipment – Liaising with the subcontractors and third party vendors for deliveries)
About you
You'll be a self-motivated individual who thrives in a close-knit team environment, with a resilience that allows you to tackle any obstacle that comes your way. Other desirable requirements are:
- 5+ years previous experience as a leading hand, foreperson or site supervisor
- Experience using Aconex or similar construction or documentation management software
- Competent user of office 365 programs including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams
- Experience using MS Project
- Knowledge of AS/NZS standards
