The Opportunity
As a Senior Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of both internal and external tender opportunities across multiple market sectors and states. Working closely with senior leadership, project teams, and key stakeholders, you will be responsible for delivering accurate cost planning, competitive tenders, and value-driven commercial outcomes from project inception through to tender submission.

Key Responsibilities
· Cost plans a diverse range of internal & external projects from concept to tender phase.
· Develop competitive, accurate bids for tender submissions.
· Drive budget outcomes during ECI phases, working collaboratively with internal & external project stakeholders.
· Prepare Bill of Quantities for projects as required.
· Manage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
· Manage external quantity surveyors and & other external bid support personnel to facilitate bid deliverables.
· Provide training & support for Estimating team Cadets & other junior team members.
- Drive value management and innovation outcomes across all project stages.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the estimating function and broader business.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience delivering successful tender submissions across a variety of construction sectors.
- Strong knowledge of Australian construction methodologies, procurement models, and contract forms.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple bids and stakeholders within a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional commercial acumen, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- A collaborative leadership style with experience mentoring and supporting junior team members.
- A Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline.
