As a Graduate Contracts Administrator, you will assist the project team in the administration and commercial management of major construction projects. You will develop practical experience across procurement, subcontract administration, contract management, cost control and project delivery while building a strong foundation for a successful career in construction.

With multiple new projects commencing across Sydney, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to major Health, Laboratory, Aged Care and Retirement Living developments that deliver lasting community impact.

Reporting to the Project Manager and working closely with the project's Commercial Lead, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the preparation of subcontract packages, scopes of work, tender documentation and procurement schedules.
  • Supporting the procurement and letting of subcontracts across multiple trades.
  • Assisting with head contract and subcontract administration, including progress claims, variations and contract correspondence.
  • Preparing, collating and evaluating tender submissions.
  • Supporting project forecasting, cash flow monitoring, cost control and reporting.
  • Reviewing subcontractor progress claims and assisting with variation assessments and approvals.
  • Working collaboratively with site teams, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to support project delivery objectives.
  • Maintaining project records, documentation and procurement registers in accordance with company processes.

About You

We're looking for a motivated graduate who is eager to learn and build a long-term career in the construction industry.

You will ideally have:

  • A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Building, Construction or a related discipline, or be in your final year of study.
  • An understanding of construction processes and project delivery fundamentals.
  • A developing knowledge of contract administration principles and construction-related legislation.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams.
  • A current White Card or willingness to obtain one prior to commencing.
