About the role:

We're looking for an experienced leader to drive the digital distribution strategy and online experience across hif.com.au and healthhub.hif.com.au. In this key role, you'll translate our HIF strategy into a clear website roadmap that improves member and prospect journeys, strengthens digital performance marketing, eCommerce performance, and ensures our platforms are commercially effective, secure and accessible.

You’ll lead a capable and ambitious digital team that punches well above its weight, using data, experimentation and cross functional collaboration to optimise digital distribution and member experience. You'll also oversee platform and vendor governance, ensuring digital initiatives are delivered in line with HIF's member first ethos and strategic growth priorities.

What we are looking for in you:

We're looking for a strategic, commercially astute leader who is equally comfortable setting the direction and rolling up their sleeves to get things done.

  • Extensive experience leading digital strategy, eCommerce, or online member experience.
  • A proven ability to shape and deliver digital roadmaps that support business growth, member experience and operational priorities.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience improving digital acquisition, conversion, distribution and performance outcomes.
  • Broad expertise across digital experience, web platforms (DXPs and CMS), SEO (with consideration of AEO implications), paid performance media, analytics, accessibility and optimisation.
  • Equal parts driver of HIF’s digital roadmap and trusted collaborator on key business initiatives that rely on the website to engage, convert and support members, with strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across technical, commercial and business enabling teams.
  • Leadership experience that spans developing teams and managing external teams like agency partners, vendors and technology relationships.
  • Experience working in regulated industries and an understanding of privacy, security and compliance requirements is desirable.

Key responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and deliver HIF's digital strategy, roadmap and budget to support business objectives.
  • Lead the ongoing development and optimisation of HIF's website and eCommerce capability, creating seamless digital experiences for members and prospects.
  • Use data and insights to improve digital acquisition, conversion, lead generation and commercial outcomes.
  • Lead, coach and support a team of three digital specialists, building capability, collaboration and high performance.
