About the role:

We are seeking passionate and engaging Member Service Advisors to join our dynamic HIF Member Engagement team. If you have a genuine dedication to delivering exceptional customer service and prioritising our members' needs, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Whether you're a parent re-entering the workforce or a university student seeking flexible part-time hours, HIF embraces diversity and inclusivity, accommodating your unique circumstances. We are offering full-time, permanent opportunities, part-time hours will also be considered.

To thrive in this role and achieve success, there are key responsibilities that you must embrace:

  • We offer an extensive Induction Program designed to ensure your success. We're looking for your dedication to successfully complete a thorough 5-week full-time paid induction training at our Perth Office, beginning on June 17th, 2024. This training will provide you with the expertise and abilities required to thrive in your position.
  • Proficiency in intermediate computer skills, including Word and Outlook. These tools will be essential for efficient communication and documentation.
  • A genuine desire and aptitude for learning about Health Insurance products. You should be enthusiastic about understanding our offerings and confidently discussing them with our valued Members.

Join our Member Engagement team and play a vital role in providing exceptional service to our Members. As a key point of contact, you will primarily engage with Members over the phone and email, proactively addressing their private health insurance needs.

To ensure you excel in this role, we provide comprehensive training at our Perth office. You will receive ample support and guidance to confidently assist Members with claims, policy changes, and retention efforts.

At HIF, we prioritise work-life balance and quality customer service. While the industry average for call centre adherence stands at 95%, we have set it at 85% to allow for breaks between calls, enabling you to deliver top-notch service to our Members.

Our dedicated team of leaders is committed to your success. They provide mentoring, support, and access to valuable resources. Cultivating a strong team culture is a priority for us, and our team leaders actively drive initiatives such as team building activities and social events. Additionally, we hold team huddles three times a week to foster a well-connected and supportive work environment.
