Interior Design Team Leader - 18 month parental leave cover

Are you a people-focussed leader with a passion for design and customer experience? Henley Properties Group is looking for a dynamic Showroom Team Leader to guide our talented interior design team and help customers bring their dream homes to life.

About the Role

This is a full-time, 18-month parental leave cover contract based at our Mount Waverley showroom.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading and mentoring a team of interior designers
• Overseeing daily showroom operations and customer experience
• Facilitating one-on-one catchups and team development
• Managing rosters, leave requests, and monthly reporting
• Assist in running monthly team meetings and being the first point of escalation

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has proven leadership experience and a passion for developing people
• Is customer-focussed and thrives in a collaborative environment
• Has a background in design or building/construction (highly regarded but not essential)
• Brings energy, empathy, and a commitment to excellence
