About the Opportunity
The Learning and Development (L&D) Advisor plays a pivotal role in supporting Help Enterprises’ commitment to developing a skilled, capable, and engaged workforce. Working closely with leaders and team members across the organisation, the L&D Advisor designs, delivers, and evaluates learning initiatives that build capability, strengthen culture, and drive performance outcomes aligned with our strategic goals. The L&D Advisor ensures that learning programs are inclusive, accessible, and reflective of Help Enterprises’ values and mission to enhance the lives of people through meaningful employment, community, and commercial services.
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Design, coordinate, and facilitate engaging learning initiatives that build capability, enhance performance, and align with Help Enterprises’ strategic objectives.
- Partner with leaders to identify skill gaps, training needs, and workforce capability priorities that support current and future organisational goals.
- Manage and continuously enhance the staff onboarding & induction experience to ensure new employees are effectively introduced to Help Enterprises’ culture, values, and operational practices.
- Oversee the effective use of the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring accurate training records, compliance reporting, and learner accessibility.
- Develop high-quality learning resources and e-learning content that cater to diverse learning needs, styles, and accessibility requirements.
- Collaborate with external providers, including RTOs and consultants, to deliver quality, compliant, and value-driven learning programs.
- Embed inclusive learning principles into all programs, promoting accessibility and supporting Help Enterprises’ commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives through feedback, data analysis, and reporting, driving continuous improvement and measurable outcomes.
- Partner on key organisational development and change initiatives, designing learning strategies that enable successful transformation and adoption.
- Coach and support leaders to build team capability, lead effective development conversations, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Stay informed on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in learning and development to continually enhance organisational capability and impact.
This is a Full Time Hybrid position based primarily at Eagle Farm.
About You:
We are seeking a motivated and value driven individual with strong understanding of the Learning and Development space. Your ability to advise, mentor and coach internal leaders and staff at all levels of seniority will be the key to your success, you will aim to meet the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in human resource management, education or a related field. (desirable)
- Proven experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating learning programs that build capability and drive performance outcomes.
- Skilled in developing engaging training materials, e-learning content, and blended learning solutions that cater to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with leaders, teams, and external providers.
- Competent in managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and using data and analytics to monitor and report on learning outcomes.
- Experience supporting organisational change through learning interventions that build readiness and support adoption of new processes or systems.
- Strong analytical and evaluation skills, with the ability to assess program effectiveness and recommend enhancements.
- Familiarity with digital learning technologies, virtual platforms, and innovative approaches to remote and hybrid learning delivery.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and timelines while maintaining quality outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse stakeholders.
