Payroll and Finance Officer

 About the Role 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll & Finance Officer to join our team. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll whilst also providing broader support across the finance team.   

Responsibilities

• Processing end-to-end payroll on a fortnightly basis 
• Maintaining and administering the payroll and time and attendance system 
• Processing new starter and termination paperwork 
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders for payroll queries and resolutions. 
• Providing support to the wider finance team 
• General bookkeeping and data management tasks as required 
• Preparing reports and reconciliations  
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations  
• Assist with audits as required 

 Ideal applicant

• At least 2 years demonstrated experience processing end-to-end payroll - ADP is highly regarded 
• Experience maintaining and administering time and attendance systems - Deputy is highly regarded 
• Ability to interpret awards, enterprise agreements, and employment contracts  
• Effective time management & organisational skills 
• Ability to work autonomously 
• Sound verbal and written communication skills 
• Understanding of employment legislations, regulations, and awards
