Haymes Paint Craigieburn is seeking a Part Time customer centric individual to join their team! Haymes Paint is passionate about offering the best product and customer service, developing long-term customer relationships by offering the best paint advice.

As a Haymes Paint Sales Assistant you will be responsible for greeting customers, providing solutions, handling cash & electronic payments, replenishing stock, colour matching and maintaining high visual merchandising standards.

This is a part time position, working 20hrs a week, you will be required to work Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide service, advice and product solutions to both trade and retail customers
  • Handle all paint related questions for all customers, including tinting paint products and colour matching to customer requirements
  • Inventory control (Goods receiving/stocktaking), stock replenishment
  • Take orders in-store and by phone
  • Build strong relationships with repeat customers in store and fellow customers
  • Assist with visual displays, store presentation and general house-keeping
  • Comply with safe work practices

About you:

  • A driver's licence to make local deliveries
  • Previous experience working in a customer service role
  • Experience with stock handling and merchandising
  • Confidence to perform manual tasks
  • Point of Sale (POS) system knowledge or appropriate tech-savvy
  • Trade or industry experience is highly regarded, but not essential
