Haymes Paint has an exciting opportunity to join our Sales team. You will be our newest Business Development Manager responsible for the Gippsland territory. This opportunity will see you build on your resilience and expand you dynamic sales skills.
You will be reporting into the State Sales Manager, where you will work collaboratively to increase the Haymes Paint's market share in the Gippsland region, across all major trade customer segments. You will have a key focus on driving new business growth, delivering innovative sales tactics, incorporating these into cold-calling, customer conversion, identifying new prospects and consistently hitting sales targets.

About the role:
- Proactive in securing and reporting of a sales pipeline, including new and existing clients, through the identification of business opportunities
- Developing and maintaining strong and collaborative relationships to provide a high level of customer service
- Excellent customer service & problem-solving skills to assist in building a loyal customer base and achieve set targets
- Confidence in managing various stakeholders including: builders, stockists & trade accounts
- Ability to anticipate project demand requirements and effectively communicate to our distribution network to ensure we deliver in full, correct and on time
About you:
- Ability to leverage multiple channels including face-to-face, phone and digital
- A keen influence to create valuable and impactful business/client connections that lead to mutually beneficial outcomes
- Extensive experience working in a relevant field (paint coatings, or another construction sales related industry)
- You will be passionate about your customers and our product, providing consistent excellent service
- Ability to work autonomously and to a specific call-cycle
- Demonstratable experience with Salesforce, Oracle or another CRM platform
