Casual Sales Assistant

Our Haymes Paint Stores are seeking a Casual Sales Assistant who can work across our Burleigh & Tweed Stores as required, averaging approximately 20hrs a week (this will vary). If you are looking for a true customer service position where you can bring your skills and knowledge to life whilst learning key skills and Haymes Paint expertise, then this position if for you.

You will work with dynamic stores and be exposed to the customer service experience that we offer in our Burleigh & Tweed remit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide service, advice and product solutions to both trade and retail customers
• Handle all paint related questions for all customers, including tinting paint
• Inventory control (good receiving/stocktaking), stock replenishment
• Take orders in-store and by phone
• Build strong relationships with repeat customers in store and fellow colleagues
• Assist with visual displays, store presentation and house keeping
• Comply with safe work practices

About you:

• A driver's licence to make local deliveries & travel between stores
• Trade or industry experience is high desireable
• Previous experience working in a customer service role
• A willingness to learn, grow and develop with Haymes Paint
• Confidence to perform manual tasks
• Point of Sale (POS) system knowledge or appropriate tech-savvy
