We are looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join our maintenance team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out planned work, responding to periodic breakdowns and supporting the maintenance of the manufacturing plant.
Key responsibilities:
- Complete allocated and emergency maintenance tasks
- Fabricate and machine replacement parts as required
- Liaise with internal manufacturing team for plant breakdowns and requirements
- Undertake maintenance tasks in order of priority to ensure effective operations of the manufacturing plant
- Ensuring the maintenance management software (MEX) is updated
About you:
- Be trade qualified as a Fitter and Turner or relevant 3-5 years in a similar role
- Experience in manufacturing maintenance environment.
- Automation experience in a liquid production environment
- Sound knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics and Air Pump production systems
- Experienced in machining and welding in TIG/MIG/Arc
- Hold a current forklift licence and EWP Yellow Card
- Have proficient computer and time management skills
- Be articulate and have effective communication skills
- Display a sound knowledge of OH&S procedures and processes.
