We are transforming our Business Intelligence systems and need a strong Report Developer with Power BI experience to work with the business to define reporting requirements, build reports and upskill SMEs to be more self-sufficient. This position is an integral part of the team to capture business process, collect requirements, and communicate effectively to take senior leadership through the journey. 

The role is initially offered as a 6-month contract. 

About the role: 

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards. 
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements. 
  • Perform data validation and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy and functionality of reports. 
  • Optimise report performance and ensure efficient data refresh and load times. 
  • Maintain clear documentation on report logic, data sources, and processes. 
  • Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices. 

About you: 

  • Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role. 
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members. 

Desirable: 

  • Experience with SQL and data modelling. 
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts. 
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
