As the Casual Leasing Executive you will report to the General Manager of Leasing, where your role is to source, negotiate, contract, monitor and follow-up with pop-up or casual leasing retailers that meet the asset vision and brand strategy.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Directly responsible to the Leasing Manager for developing and implementing a plan to achieve agreed objectives.
  • Appointment and co-ordination of contract resources within budgets to achieve agreed objectives.
  • Achieve synergy over portfolio including retail and commercial.
  • Establish relationships with others that operate similar outlets.
  • Recommend additional revenue streams - not limited to CML internally.
  • Work with existing retailers to establish pop up stores in other assets.
  • Liaise with incubator and small business groups to encourage casual leasing across the portfolio.
  • Work with Leasing Manager to set appropriate budget across the assets.
  • Track and monitor sales results against target quarterly reporting to the Leasing Manager and relevant Property Managers. 
  • Generate leads from farmers markets, arts markets, neighborhood markets, other pop-up retail and gather contact details to discuss pop up opportunities in Hawaiian assets.

Qualification Requirements:

  • DMIRS Current Property Management Registration.
  • Background in Casual Leasing with experience dealing directly with tenants.
  • Knowledge of and experience in developing Leasing strategies.
  • Familiar with Accounting processes and documentation.

  • Strong customer service experience, oral and written communication with the ability to negotiate, influence and resolve conflict.
  • Strong conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities, the need for improvement and implement change.
  • Strong planning and organisation skills including the ability to effectively prioritise and manage multiple deadlines whilst delivering accurate and quality work.
  • Ability to work as a team player in an environment where information is shared openly.
  • Highly proficient in the use of computers and able to quickly learn new systems with training.
  • Proven record of closing leasing negotiations in a timely manner.
