Cable Beach Club is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to join our team in the Hawaiian Perth-based office.

An outstanding opportunity has arisen within our Marketing team to undertake the role of Marketing Coordinator, Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa on a 12 Month full-time contract with the possibility of extension and / or permanency.

The Marketing Coordinator, CBCR will report to the Marketing Manager, CBCR, and will take ownership of all aspects of CBCR marketing and support all CBCR Marketing initiatives to achieve key marketing objectives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with implementing the Resort marketing strategy, providing marketing support under the direction of the Marketing Manager. Scope of work includes Resort sub-brands (restaurants, wellness outlets, front office, sales and events).


Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Copy Writing

  • Create and coordinate digital assets for social media, email marketing, website and online listings.
  • Design branded collateral, such as promotional posters, restaurant menus, templates and client material.
  • Write creative and captivating copy, aligning with premium brand standards.
  • Create menus for season launches and keep updated as requested throughout the seasons, in line with branding and templates.
  • Proof copy and designs as requested, ensuring brand standards are upheld.

Website Coordination

  • Coordinate website content in a timely manner, ensuring information is relevant and refreshed as required.
  • Review and update essential information across third-party websites, including Resort hours, menus, photography, review responses and essential information.

Brand Advocate

  • Coordinate the Resort Canva account and ‘Brand’ SharePoint folder, ensuring content is up to date and accessible for internal stakeholders. Communicate updates as required.
  • Attend relevant Perth-based industry events, under the direction of the Marketing Manager.
  • On occasion, the Marketing Coordinator may be requested to travel to Broome to assist with Resort branded events or promotional activities.

Administration

  • Maintain the work in progress and tracker document to communicate timelines and projects to all stakeholders on a weekly basis.
  • Weekly WIPs with the Marketing Manager and Operations Manager.
  • Reconciling accounts, generating PO’s and processing invoices.
  • Collate monthly report tracking and campaign ROIs.
  • Schedule social media, using Sprout Social.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, tourism, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a marketing assistant or coordinator role.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms, digital marketing tools and Canva.
  • Ability to work autonomously and to deadlines.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction, with opportunity to grow for the right candidate.
  • Knowledge of the WA tourism or hospitality industry would be an advantage.
