An exciting opportunity has arisen within our retail portfolio to undertake the part time role working 3 days per week of Assistant Visual Merchandiser on a 12 month contract, with the view to extension and/or permanency.

Working under the direction of the Lead Visual Merchandiser you will assist with the planning and implementation of visual displays across all Hawaiian Shopping Centres, including Claremont Quarter.

Essential Duties

Essential duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Maintain consistent visual merchandising standards in all Hawaiian centres, in line with brand expectations.
  • Work with the Hawaiian Marketing team to ensure support is provided to appropriate Hawaiian retailers with a planned approach.
  • Document Visual Merchandising briefs, and record support provided to Hawaiian retailers.
  • Assist in the maintenance and organisation of the Hawaiian warehouse.
  • Build relationships across multiple departments, including Property, Leasing, Marketing and Operations to ensure a collaborative approach at all times.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with Hawaiian retailers to understand their objectives and assist accordingly.
  • Assist with prop making. 
  • Maintain work in progress and tracker document.
  •  Communicate timelines and projects to all internal stakeholders on weekly basis.
  • Assist with reconciling accounts, generate PO’s and processing of invoice

Preferred Skills and Attributes

With a willingness to learn and work in a strong, collaborative team you will have well-developed planning and organisation skills including the ability to effectively prioritise and manage multiple deadlines whilst delivering accurate and quality work.

Along with a strong sense of design and aesthetics you will shine with your problem solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities, the need for improvement and implement change.
