You will be our centre ambassador, representing the vision of Hawaiian as the first point of face-to-face contact in connecting our shopping centres (including customers, tenants and the community) and people, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

The role of Customer Service Officer is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our shopping centre by providing exceptional customer service and support through positive and maintained relationships.

This role is being offered as a 12 month part-time (18 hrs p/w) contract with the possibility of extension and/or permanency.

A snapshot of your responsibilities will include:

  • To be the brand ambassador for Hawaiian serving as the primary resource for information and assistance for partners including Tenants, Customers, Council and Contractors.
  • Establish and develop strong relationships with centre retailers, including developing and maintaining thorough knowledge of centre stores (including retailer changes) selection, locations, merchandising, price points, special sales and events.
  • Serve as the primary resource for customers seeking information, assistance, or store recommendations; develop a thorough understanding of all shopping centre services and amenities as well as those within the local community.
  • Proactively communicate and educate customers on the shopping centres marketing and customer service programs and upcoming events.
  • Follow the process in place to ensure all queries, feedback and issues, whether verbal or written, are noted and communicated to relevant team members.
  • Maintain a professional appearance (wearing the provided uniform) and courteous manner when dealing with partners at all times.
