We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our Construction team. This role provides a genuine career path into any of our roles within our business.

Reporting to into the Senior Project Manager, this role provides support to the site team to achieve project objectives and ensure everything is ticking along nicely. You will be working on high profile, diverse and impressive projects, across various industries, projects ranging from $100,000 through to $30M+ projects.

What we’re looking for

  • Exposure to the construction industry (includes Internship or Graduate roles), will also consider candidates with no construction working experience;
  • Completed Degree/Diploma in Construction Management or Site Management background;
  • Experience working in a team environment with developed customer service skills;
  • Can do attitude;
  • Proactive, passionate and eager to continuously learn and develop;
  • An understanding of how great teams function and how to be a team player;
  • Proven administrative skills;
  • Basic industry and OHS knowledge;
  • Strong client focus;
  • Ability to negotiate, time management skills and attention to detail;
  • Intermediate MS suite capability & computer literacy;
  • A current drivers license and vehicle.

What you'll be involved in:

  • Providing administration support to project team.
  • Preparation and negotiation of contracts and scopes of work.
  • Monitoring compliance to contract requirements.
  • Liaising with sub-contractors, councils and authorities.
  • Drafting and issuing subcontracts.
  • Manage invoice and claims using Harris HMC processes and systems.
  • Assist in the management and tracking of project expenditure (using Cheops).
  • Client communications – phone, email and f2f.
  • Attend and minute take at internal and external meetings.
  • Document control.
  • Assisting with the programming and planning of project.
