The Role

We're looking for an experienced Butcher Manager to lead our meat department.

This is a hands-on role where you'll work on the block, lead your team by example and ensure customers receive the highest quality products and service.

You'll be responsible for:

• Leading and developing a team of Butchers and Meat Assistants
• Maintaining high standards of product quality, presentation and food safety
• Managing stock, waste, wages and sales performance
• Planning production to meet customer demand
• Working closely with the Store Manager and Buying Team
• Creating a department that customers love to shop in

About You

You'll bring:

• Trade qualifications in Butchery
• Experience in retail butchery
• Previous team leadership experience
• Strong product knowledge and customer service skills
• A passion for developing and supporting others
• Good commercial awareness and problem-solving skills
