Senior Finance Business Partner

As Senior Finance Business Partner, you'll be the commercial bridge between data and decisions at Harris Farm Markets. Partnering closely with our Merchandise and Supply Chain teams, you'll turn sales, margin and promotional analysis into insights that support our Customers and identify opportunities for our Supply Chain teams to improve operational effectiveness while being a key member of our Leadership team.  

What You'll Do

• Partner with Merchandising teams on margin, range and pricing decisions
• Analyse promotional effectiveness, uplift, cannibalisation and return on spend
• Partner with Supply Chain and DC leadership on labour cost and operational efficiency
• Lead in-depth analysis of sales, margin and wage, transport cost performance across Merchandise and distribution centres
• Own budget and forecast preparation for your portfolio, including TM1 input and seasonal reforecasts
• Build robust business cases for commercial activity, capital investment and supply chain initiatives
• Translate financial data into plain-English insight that non-finance stakeholders can act on
• Coach and develop the Logistics Analyst, sharing your commercial craft as you go

What You’ll Bring

• 7+ years' experience in commercial finance, FP&A or business partnering
• CA/CPA qualified or well progressed towards qualification
• Advanced Excel; experience with TM1 or similar planning tools highly regarded
• Retail experience highly regarded, particularly exposure to Buying/Merchandising or Supply Chain/DC environments
• Strong analytical skills across large, complex data sets
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, you can turn numbers into a story leaders act on
• Commercially minded and comfortable balancing competing priorities across multiple business areas
