Casual Shop Assistant

About the Role

As a Casual Shop Assistant, you will work across different departments as required, including:

• Fruit & Vegetables
• Groceries
• Perishables/ Pre Pack Meat
• Online (Picking & Packing Orders)
• Customer Service

Your day-to-day duties may include:

• Providing friendly and helpful customer service on the shop floor
• Filling, rotating, and presenting stock to a high standard
• Assisting with online order picking and packing
• Maintaining clean, safe, and well-organised work areas
• Following food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures
• Supporting the team during busy trading periods

About You

• Previous retail or supermarket experience is not essential
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn across multiple departments
• Reliable, flexible, and available to work across a 7-day roster, AM & PM shifts
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
