You prepare, present and sell high-quality protein products to customers and you help our customers get the right cut for the occasion, with advice they can't get at a supermarket.  You work as part of a team to deliver quality and service above all else.

We are currently searching for our next Butcher!

Responsibilities

• Break down, bone, portion and prepare meat to Harris Farm specification
• Produce consistent, accurate cuts, weight, trim and presentation up to standard
• Prepare value-added products, marinades, skewers, burger patties, sausages, roasts
• Quality-check every delivery, reject anything that doesn't meet HFM standards
• Use your trade judgement to minimise waste, turn trim into something sellable

About you

We are looking for someone who loves food and protein.  Additionally, we are looking for someone with:

• Strong communication skills, friendly and solutions focussed to help drive a team and sales as well as delivering exceptional service to the community
• Back your team, step up when they're off the floor, contribute to building a reputation as the best in the business
• Maintain cold chain, hygiene and food safety end-to-end, every shift
• have strong technical skills as a butcher
