  • Lead major tender processes (RFP/RFQ) for contract renewals and new category sourcing
  • Champion procurement best practices across the business

Data, Analysis & Reporting

  • Deliver actionable insights and analytics to support strategic decision-making
  • Build procurement dashboards, track KPIs, and report savings and supplier performance
  • Analyse market trends, pricing, and historical spend to drive efficiency
  • Provide transparent, value-focused reporting to internal stakeholders

Supplier & Contract Management

  • Own and maintain a centralised contract register and renewal calendar
  • Lead performance reviews and ensure service delivery meets contractual expectations
  • Build strong supplier partnerships while managing cost, quality, and risk
  • Negotiate commercial terms to optimise long-term value
  • Establish robust supplier risk strategies and continuity plans

Cost Optimisation & Value Delivery

  • Lead annualised savings programs across all indirect categories
  • Review and challenge supplier pricing, structures, and scopes of work
  • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes of indirect spend
  • Identify innovation opportunities across consumables, services, and supplier models

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Develop and lead procurement frameworks, policies, and processes
  • Ensure procurement activity complies with legislation, standards and company policy
  • Promote consistent sourcing practices and high governance standards
  • Lead supply chain risk mitigation and ensure business continuity readiness

Consumables Efficiency Projects

  • Standardise store usage of operational consumables (e.g. fatigue mats, register rolls)
  • Build efficiency programs to support store fitouts, remodels, and day-to-day operations

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years' procurement experience in food retail, FMCG, or a production environment
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale indirect spend and deliver strategic outcomes
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record in cost savings and operational optimisation
