As our Senior IT Operations Engineer, you’ll play a key role in keeping our systems running seamlessly across stores, distribution, and head office helping us deliver the best experience for our customers every day

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be the go-to expert for all things infrastructure and support leading from the front and ensuring our IT systems are always running at their best.

Day to day you will:

  • Administer, maintain, and deploy hardware and software, including network peripherals
  • Manage telephones (VOIP), mobiles, and devices across the business
  • Maintain IT assets and inventory records
  • Respond to and resolve IT support requests following ITIL best practices
  • Create and maintain documentation and knowledge base articles
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues from head office to store networks
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to minimise downtime
  • Set up and support new store openings from hardware to configuration
  • Mentor junior engineers and champion operational excellence
  • Participate in on-call rotations, ensuring smooth operations during critical trading times

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone with a passion for technology, a proactive mindset, and the confidence to lead by example. You’ll also have:

  • 7+ years of IT support experience (including 1–2 years in systems administration)
  • Relevant IT certifications (advantageous)
  • Strong customer service, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical ability in complex environments
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows Server, Office365, Active Directory, Azure, and a basic understanding of Linux
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, Firewalls)
  • Experience with POS systems, Ubiquiti UniFi, ManageEngine, PRTG, 8x8/Fuze VOIP, Wedderburn Scales, or D365 would be a plus
  • A valid driver’s licence for on-site support
